    A new report sets out NHS Cheshire and Merseyside’s plan for improving access and making it easier and simpler for patients to access the care they need and supporting GP practices to manage demand and capacity through a range of additional measures.   16. Engaging Communities Solutions awarded new 7-year Healthwatch Warrington contract

    Warrington Borough Council have awarded the new Healthwatch Warrington contract to Engaging Communities Solutions Community Interest Company. This means ECS (Engaging Communities Solutions) can continue to deliver the contract which they have held since August 2018 and maintain the high level of support offered to local residents throughout the borough. The contract will include Healthwatch services and also the NHS Complaints Advocacy service contract.

This power to Enter and View services offers a way for Healthwatch Warrington to meet some of their statutory functions and allows them to identify what is working well with services and where they could be improved
