About the team

Our role is to champion for the interests of those using health and social care services across Warrington and to give local people an opportunity to speak out about their concerns and health care priorities.

We have a small staff team supported by a dedicated group of volunteers.

Lydia Hughes 

Chief Executive Healthwatch Warrinton & Healthwatch Halton 

Lydia has over 30 years’ of experience across the private, public, and voluntary sectors. Lydia has held senior roles in social care services, including CEO of Healthwatch Warrington, Director of Operations and Service Development for a Homelessness Charity and CEO for a Domestic Abuse Charity in Greater Manchester. She recently joined Healthwatch Halton as their Interim Chair from the 1st of December 2023. 

Lydia is qualified Level 7 in Leadership and Housing Practitioner, Level 5 Business & Management & Domestic and Sexual Violence. She created her own Reflexology and holistic business and in September 2022 joined the Board as Director/Trustee of a Domestic Abuse Charity in Berkshire.

Crissi Morad- Information and Engagement Lead

Crissi has a BA honours degree in Advertising and worked as the Centre Co-Ordinator at the Gateway for several years so has a good understanding of the sector and healthwatch. Crissi controls all our social media and media assets and is happy to help.

Lisa Fidler- Social Care & Enter and View Lead

Lisa has spent over 9 years in the public sector, having worked on employment and training support projects at Torus Foundation and has worked with Domestic abuse and Violence for families in Warrington.  Experienced in person centred  practice, Lisa is experienced in complex case work.

Dennis Dewar- Patient and Public Reference Group Co-odinator

 

Dennis is passionate about bringing people together to improve services and ensure communities are heard. Working across healthcare and community settings, Dennis engages with service users, carers, volunteers and local organisations through consultations, surveys and co-production projects. With a strong focus on inclusion and accessibility, Dennis helps ensure that feedback from diverse communities influences decision-making and service development. Dennis enjoys building meaningful partnerships and supporting people to have a genuine voice in shaping the services that affect them.
