    St Rocco’s Hospice was successful in an application for funding from the Health Foundation, an independent organisation working to build a healthier UK, to be part of its exciting new £2 million innovation programme that will explore how technology can enable new approaches to care at home and in the community.

    The Government has published a report that there are national supply issues affecting medications for the treatment of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). There are a combination of reasons why this is happening, including: increase in demand, manufacturing issues, change in suppliers, change in what manufactures are making certain products. It is unclear when these issues will be resolved.

    A new report sets out NHS Cheshire and Merseyside’s plan for improving access and making it easier and simpler for patients to access the care they need and supporting GP practices to manage demand and capacity through a range of additional measures. In 2023/24 this will be supported by a total of £90 million investment in primary care general practice and related measures contained in the plan.
