Dennis joins Healthwatch with a passion for bringing people together to improve services and ensure communities are heard. Returning to the voluntary and community sector, Dennis is looking forward to working closely with residents, service users, carers, volunteers and local organisations to strengthen patient and public involvement across Warrington and Halton.
In his role, Dennis will support engagement activities including consultations, surveys and co-production projects, helping to ensure that people's experiences and feedback influence decision-making and service development. With a strong commitment to inclusion and accessibility, Dennis is dedicated to amplifying diverse voices and creating opportunities for communities to shape the services that matter to them.
A key part of Dennis's work will be supporting the Patient and Public Reference Group, helping local people share their views and experiences to improve health and care services.
Dennis is particularly passionate about building meaningful partnerships and ensuring that local knowledge and lived experience are at the heart of service improvement.
Speaking about his new role, Dennis said:
"I'm excited to be returning to work in the voluntary and community sector. I look forward to meeting and working with service users, carers and local voluntary groups. Their experiences and insights will be invaluable in helping improve how our hospital and community health services work together."
Healthwatch Warrington is excited to have Dennis on board and looks forward to the positive contribution he will make in championing the voices of local people and helping shape better health and care services for everyone.
