Healthwatch Warrington and Healthwatch Halton have come together to create a Patient and Public Reference Group to support the integration under the Better Care Together Programme.

As a single organisation with almost 6,500 dedicated and skilled staff, North Cheshire and Mersey will deliver hospital and community services for those living in Warrington, Halton and the surrounding areas.

We’d love to invite you to join our new Patient and Public Reference Group, hosted independently by Healthwatch Warrington and Healthwatch Halton.

This group is all about listening to local voices. Together, we’ll shape the group’s purpose, set the agenda, and encourage others to share their views on health topics that matter.

We’ll meet in person and offer a hybrid option for those who prefer to join online.

All we are asking is for 2 hours a month.

By joining the PPRG, you agree to the following:

Purpose of the Group The PPRG is facilitated by Healthwatch Warrington and Healthwatch Halton to gather public views and help shape local health and care services. [healthwatc...gton.co.uk], [healthwatc...lton.co.uk]
Voluntary Participation Membership is entirely voluntary, and you may leave the group at any time by notifying the PPRG Coordinator.
Respect and Inclusion Members are expected to treat fellow participants, staff, and partners with courtesy, dignity, and respect. Discriminatory, abusive, or inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated.
Confidentiality From time to time, members may discuss sensitive information. Any information identified as confidential must not be shared outside the group without permission.
Use of Personal Information Your personal information will be stored and processed in line with applicable data protection legislation and Healthwatch privacy policies. Your details will only be used for PPRG-related communications and activities.
Attendance and Engagement Members are encouraged to participate in meetings, surveys, and discussions where possible. Attendance is appreciated but not mandatory.
Sharing Your Views Members are welcome to share their experiences and opinions honestly and respectfully. Participation does not guarantee that individual suggestions or recommendations will be adopted.
Changes to Membership Healthwatch Warrington and Healthwatch Halton reserve the right to end membership where these terms are not followed or where participation is no longer appropriate.
